The most important monumental cities in central and south Spain
Day 1 MADRID : Directly from Airport to Hotel . Balance of day to familiarize with the town. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 MADRID : Breakfast and overnight at hotel . The whole day , we suggest you to visit some of its main avenues and monumental fountains. (Cibeles , Nepturo ) , as well as the famous and always busy Plaza Mayor (main square) and the old town , visiting inside the Prado Museum , probably the best collection of classic painters on the world . Moreover the visit of Royal Palace is a ‘must’ in town.
Day 3 MADRID : Breakfast . Departure along the flat ‘La Mancha’ region, where Don Quixote’s adventure happened . GORDOVA : The town was important in the Roman age , but during the Moslem period specially the IX and Xth centuries , when Cordoba became the capital of the Caliphate and the most populated in the world (almost 1 million) . Morning we suggest to visit the Mosque , considered the nicest among the historical mosques . Then a walk around the Jewish Quarter , with its fresh narrow streets and Andalusia “patios” . SEVILLA : Overnight at hotel .
Day 4 SEVILLA : Breakfast and overnight at hotel . The whole day to visit inside the Gothic Cathedral , the largest in Spain and third in the world , with the Giralda tower (striking minaret of the former mosque) . Then a walk by Santa Cruz Quarter , a maze of small alleys with colorful names stepped in legend and small squares with the peacefulness of a tiny garden is an invitation to rest . The visit of Royal Alcazar will bring us to the splendor of a medieval Arab palace .
Day 5 SEVILLA : Breakfast . Departure to Jerez de la Frontera . JEREZ : We suggest to visit a sherry wine cellar with a taste. Sherry is the best well known Spanish wine abroad , and great part of the local economy is related to the production of his world – famous . Departure along the “ROUTE OF THE WHITE VILLAGES” (Arcos de la Frontera , Grazalema ,.. ) All in the mountainous area was part of the warlike border between the Christian and the Muslim kingdoms for more than 3 centuries . This fact that conditioned its physiognomy : Castle over the hill and down in the hill side , the bright white houses with narrow and labyrinth streets . The route is full of fantastic panoramic sights . RONDA : In an impressive location , a sheer cleft of over 300 ft. called El tajo splits the town . Time to visit the bull-ring , built in 1784 . all stone itself , which is the eldest and nicest in Spain . Walking through the old town , we will find nice palaces and some magnificent views over countryside . GRANADA : Overnight at hotel
Day 6 GRANADA : Breakfast and overnight at hotel . The whole day to discover this unique town , visiting La Alhambra , the best example of the sophisticated royal life in the Nazari Islamic kingdom in the XIVth century .We will find numerous halls and “patios” courtyards of amazing beauty . Of course we suggest to visit the nice Generalife gardens wits its fountains . Do not forget to walk till be lost in the nice in Albayzin Quarter to get the most splendid view of Alhambra palace from the San Nicolas square .
Day 7 GRANADA : Breakfast and Departure to Toledo . TOLEDO : It was the capital and royal residence in the middle age , and in XVIIIth century the Moslems , Jewishs , and Christians lived peacefully together flourishing as a great culture and monumental center . We will enjoy walking along its narrow street where the history can be felt in the air . Afternoon , you will be impresses by the visit of the Cathedral , St tome Church (where El Greco painter’s masterpiece) and the Synagogue . In the evings we suggest a walk in their stone streets when all tourists coming from Madrid are gone and town remain as a little town is . Its medieval streets illuminated will bring us magically to other past. Overnight at hotel .
Day 8 TOLEDO : Breakfast directly departure to Madrid MADRID Airport : (Arrival in about 90 minutes) . End of services .

Price does not include: Airport taxes, additional transportation, meals-dinners, liability insurance of personal accident, entrances to attractions visited, and whatever is mentioned as optional or recommended.
Notes:
- The price includes (according to the airline VUELING) the transport cost of one suitcase maximum 20 kg per person (except hand luggage). Additional luggage is charged by the company and has to be paid by the passenger.
- The car rental price includes the following insurance - CDW, THW, PAI and all legal taxes. This means that in case of damage (accident) the customer has to pay the first 606,00€ EUR on his own.
- If the damage is more than the above amount, the remaining amount is covered by the insurance company.
- The Rent a Car company during the process of car delivery provides to the customer the opportunity to buy full security (CDW + TP) with an extra charge directly to him.
A necessary condition for the driver is to have a passport or identity of new type and to be: a. Holder of legal driving license (European Union) for over a year b. To be at least 25 years old c. To be holder of a credit card (VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS) which will be required during the car delivery and will be used as security for the rental car. |
