Day 1 DEPARTURE TO LISBONGathering and fly via European city to the most western capital of Europe, Lisbon. Arrival and immediately follows a panoramic tour, just to get a first taste of the city before the transport to our hotel. Check in and settlement into our rooms.
Day 2 LISBONAfter breakfast we will begin today's tour during which we will have the opportunity to admire the monument of Discoveries & the magnificent Belem Tower, dedicated to the Portuguese navigators and their possessions, the monastery of Jeronimos, the museum of the Royal Coaches. In the afternoon we suggest you to walk the streets of the old city and have fun at some of the many bars in Byron Alto.
Day 3 LISBON - SINTRA – CAPE ROCA – CASCAIS - ESTORILBreakfast at our hotel and we ‘ll start our day excursion to the outskirts of Lisbon. Our first stop is the beautiful mountains of Sintra, where we will have the opportunity to visit the Royal Palace which housed the royal families during the 15/16 and 17th century. Afterwards we ‘ll be transferred to the Guincho beach, passing from the area Cape Roca, the most western point in continental Europe. We ‘ll also visit the picturesque fishing village of Cascais with the traditional port and colourful boats. Then we ‘ll have the opportunity to discover the cosmopolitan Estoril with the luxury villas and the famous casino. Return to Lisbon in the afternoon.
Day 4 LISBON- OBIDOS - NAZARE - FATIMA - COIMBRABreakfast and we’ll start the day tour, which has as last station the city of Coimbra. Our first stop, the beautiful medieval village Obidos. We will walk through the narrow streets between white houses adorned with flowers and have the chance to enjoy a panoramic view of the 13meter high walls that surround the village. We ‘ll continue our journey towards the fishing village of Nazare. An experience you will never forget, due to the vitality of the residents and the feeling created by a small village that still keeps the tradition alive. Our last station, the centre of Catholicism, the Fatima. Departure to Coimbra, arrival and settlement in our hotel.
Day 5 COIMBRA - PORTOAfter breakfast we ‘ll start our tour of the city of Coimbra. We will visit the university campus and tour the streets of poets with the Montego River – which is mentioned in many songs. Departure to Porto. We ‘ll visit the impressive city which is built on the bank of river Douro and spreads on the hills, still maintaining its medieval view. In Ribeiro area, along the river, are stretching the old neighbourhoods with many traditional shops and the open market on the dock, where the typical boats were being loaded with the namesake wine. Then we will visit the Bolshoi Palace, which houses the Chamber of Commerce and the oldest stock exchange. Finally we will visit an old winery in the city, where for many years matures the famous wine "Porto" and we will be delighted to taste the delicious flavour and rich aroma. Arrival and settlement in our hotel.
Day 6 PORTO - BRAGA - GUIMARAESBreakfast and then follows a full day excursion. Our first stop is the beautiful city of Braga, which is the second important place of pilgrimage in Portugal. We ‘ll have the opportunity to see 20 churches –placed next to each other, including the cathedral with the two robust towers. We ‘ll continue to Guimaraes. This city is situated 22km. Southeast of Braga and proudly defines itself as "the cradle of Portugal”. Here was born in 1111 Afonso Henriques who created the kingdom of Portugal. On the hill above town rises the romantic fortress. In the interesting historical centre rises the mansion of the Dukes of Braganca of 15th century. Free time. Return to Porto. The afternoon is at your disposal. Overnight.
Day 7 PORTO - LISBON Breakfast and departure to Lisbon. Arrival and settlement in our hotel. Rest of the day free.
Day 8 LISBONBreakfast and departure to the airport in order to board on our flight to Barcelona. Arrival and then follows the tour of the city of Barcelona. The tour starts from the hill of Montjuic where we will enjoy the panoramic view of the city and harbour. We ‘ll continue to the Olympic Village & the Olympic stadium where the Olympic Games took place in 1992. Next stop the Guell Park, the canvas of the famous Gaudi, the valuable creation of Gaudi Sagrada Familia (Holy Family) and we’ll finally arrive at the Gothic Quarter. After the tour free time at your disposal until the time of flight departure.
